Uitspanberg
The project area is located 40 kilometers west of Prieska in the Northern Cape, a region known for
its substantial mining history. The area lies within the Griqualand West Basin, which hosts some of
the world’s most valuable iron and base metal deposits, and is characterized by sedimentary
formations such as banded iron formations (BIFs) and carbonates. The northern portion of the
project is highly prospective for base metals (Pb, Zn, and Cu), and iron, with historical data indicating
multiple mineral occurrences.
